Unique opportunity to acquire beautiful and rare piece of history - YORK SAFE & LOCK CO. - bank vault door 4 spoke locking handle.  This handle was used to operate the vault door main lock bolts.  The handle comes with spindle, gear, washer and nut.  The last two photos show similar handle on the vault door.
This piece is coming from the prominent, Ralph Walker designed, NYC landmark Art-Deco bank building circa 1930.    Beautiful piece with known provenance.  It will definitely be a centerpiece of any collection and a conversation piece.
Dimensions are approximately: overall dimensions are 14-1/2"W X 9-1/2"T.
It is very heavy.  It weights approximately 21.0 pounds.
