    Description

This is a fabulous example of glass making from the early 1930s. It is a candy or bon-bon dish by Imperial Glass of Bellaire, Oh. It could also be used as a saucer. It has an intricate cane and button pattern embossed on the bottom and lace filigree work around the rim. The dish is just over 7" in diameter and is 1" tall sitting on a round foot. The color is light blue opalescent. There is some confusion about whether this pattern was called "Katy" or "Sugar Cane". There are no signs of use - no chips, cracks, or even scratches.
