Vintage 1930's CHICAGO brand black leather children's kid's roller-skates size 2

These sweet little skates have lasted some 80+ years and with a little t.l.c. they should last many more!
You don't often come across vintage 1930's children's roller-skates, and when you do, you don't usually find them in this condition. These well-loved but still ready-to-go skates are made of a durable, thick but malleable leather in painted black color. Base in sturdy metal, with rubber wheels and stoppers. Shoe tongues have old-fashioned pinked edges and woven cotton laces. All American-made with strong craftsmanship and quality materials ('they don't make 'em like they used to!'). Marked 'Chicago' and '2' on metal bases. Overall condition is quite excellent for their age, with mild surface wear to leather, some cracking around top ankles and some breakdown on weave of laces.
