Risinge Sankta Maria Kyrka is a 12th century Swedish church near Finspång, Östergötland. Famous for its lime paintings from the early 15th century. the master behind the paintings is unknown but is called the
Rising Master
after his most well-preserved work.
Here is a vintage free-standing crystal plaque featuring a line drawing of the historic Saint Maria Church. Drawing is printed on the frosted backside of the ice looking crystal. Base is frosted as well. Stands 4-5/8 inches tall and measures 4-1/4 inches across. It is approx 1-1/2 inches deep. The artist Carlsson's signature appears on the face. There are some scratches on the face but they do not detract from the beauty of the crystal or drawing. No other flaws noted. No makers mark or label present so the brand and age are unknown.
