    This is an original hand hooked wool rug with primitive makings
    measures: 19 by 16 inches
    Made of 100% wool with a combination of salvaged and new wools
    Hooked through a piece of burlap with stitched bind-ed edges
    Some of the wool had been calico dyed to achieve different effects and shading
    This particular piece was used as a teaching guide for a class of Hookers my wife had taught
    She has been hooking on and off for many years most of her work had been given away as gifts some still darn our walls floors and tables and counter tops
    This rug as well as all others are made as they were made in early times
    Only materials used today are of better quility
    and
    Most of the wool not all is hand cut by machine rather than hand torn into strips
