Nils Olsson Dalahastar, Dala Horse cute bookends, Folk Art, Scandinavian. Condition is "Used".
Very cute bookends, made by Nils Olsson's workshop in Sweden. They no longer make them it appears, and I had ordered this color special by messaging their workshop. The sticker and maker's signature can be found on the horse's belly for authenticity. The bottom of the bookends have rubber feet so they don't slide around, which have worked really well. The bookends are still in very good condition, the rubber feet just show a little wear. I think the wood they used for the frame part is birch. It's a very cute decor piece, especially for a scandinavian, farmhouse, or folk art interior design.
