METAL VIKING SHIPS & VIKING FIGURINE VINTAGE METAL and PEWTER SOUVENIRS NORWAY

Description

Vintage metal and pewter souvenir figurines from Norway including two Viking ships and a Viking holding a sword.
The Viking figurine holding his sword is made of solid pewter and the back is inscribed "TINN NORGE", or "Pewter, Norway". His shield is embossed with a rune "TF". It stands 3.5" tall.
The little Viking ship is also made of pewter with nice detail in the dragon heads at the bow and stern. The sail is embossed "NORGE" as is the side of the bow. The underside is marked "HANDSTOPT - T.P.B. - TINN" (hand cast pewter). It stands 2.5" tall by 3" across by 1" wide.
The larger highly stylized Modernist Viking ship is made of what looks like aluminum. This was probably made as a memo holder, with four holes in the sides that can be used to hold pencils, and slats between the three sails that can be used to hold paper, envelops or memos. It stands 3" tall by 3.75" across by 2" wide, and weighs 1 lb.
