My son’s (15U) club has a Hit Trax system in their cage. After several thousand hits over several months with his balanced composite, he instead tried a 519 yesterday in his same bat size (33/30). In session #1, his record hit distance was immediately extended by over 25 feet. Average driven ball distance consitently matched his old record distance. He also passed his former record exit velocity on contact. Just 1 session... all that changed was the bat. This bat has bith pop out of the wrapper, and a very nice blend of balance and power. He also liked it better than several 2 piece bats he compared it with in the same cage.
Cons:
As expected, there is more feel on good hits and more vibration on mishits than with the two-piece models he compared with. Didn’t bother him though so the vibration control works fine.
