    Description

German States Prussia Deutsches Reich Drei 3 Mark Commemorative, a pre-WWI coin!
Please look at all pictures for more details and condition.
I weighed the coin on an accuracy tested gram scale.   The weight of the coin was 16.63 grams. The percentage or fineness of the silver is unknown.  As a means of comparison, the Liberty Walking half dollar weighs 12.50 grams and has .36169 ounces of pure silver.
The coin was heavily silver tarnished and was cleaned with silver tarnish remover to be able to read letters, numbers and words.  The only element stated for the composition of this commemorative coin is silver.  If the coin was made entirely of silver, which is possible as the coin was made about a 110 years ago, then the silver weight would equal approximately 0.59 ounces or more than a half ounce of silver!.
An excellent version of this coin states the following. "
NGC Prussia 1913 PF 65 3 Mark Silver Proof Coin Rare Germany PR" and is currently for sale at 9.00.
