The vital statistics: one 1910-A German States - Prussia 3 mark coin, KM# 527, silver 0.900 fineness, 16.6670 g (0.59 oz.) weight, actual silver weight 0.4823 troy oz., 33 mm (1.3 in.) diameter.
This coin is in strong very fine condition.  Details of the coin's designs are clear and distinct.  The intricate details of the reverse eagle device show smoothing from wear and are in very fine condition.  All letters and numerals are clearly legible.  The obverse of the coin is lamentably defaced by extensive hairline scratching.  The two pairs of images were taken in the same location and under the same light.  Only the background is different.  I've found that the different backgrounds give different image resolutions, though they white background also gives silver coins a misleading golden hue.
