The vital statistics: one 1876-A German States - Prussia 2 mark coin, KM# 506, silver (0.900), 11.1110 g (0.39 oz.) weight, actual silver weight 0.3215 troy oz., 28 mm (1.1 in.) diameter.
This coin is fine condition.  Contours of the coin's designs are clear.  All letters and numerals are legible.  Fine details of the coin's designs have been smoothed over by wear.  Both pairs of images were taken in the same location and under the same light.  Only the background is different.  Different backgrounds provide different image resolution, though the white background also gives silver coins a misleading golden hue.
