    A wooden box for storing money that was used in Japan from the Edo period to the Taisho era.  It is what we call a piggy bank or safe.
    There are various designs of Zenibako, and there are many types.
    There are various types of drawers, such as those with drawers, those with a square at the top, and those with a hidden drawer at the back of the drawer.
    The coin box is small because it mainly holds coins, but there are also long and large coin boxes such as the Senryobako in the Edo period.
    In rare cases, there are also elaborate metal fitting designs.
