Antique Original Colt S A A 1st Gen Gutta Percha Grips w/flaws

Description

This is an original set of Colt SAA Grips for the 45 cal 1873 Model.
They are made from Gutta Percha.
They have the following flaws:

Some unknown coyboy's initials carved on the butt or bottom half of the right grip

Two "notches" are carved on the bottom of the other grip

the interior of the left grip eustachian tube shows some damage that is unlikely to prevent screwing the two halves together

Seeing as how they ain't making these grips for quite some time now, and many owners of SSA's are attempting to replace replacement grips with original historic grips for their gunfighter pistols, I thought was pretty reasonable to start these Colt grips

ALL GRIPS NEED TO BE FITTED TO THEIR COLT, you should know that before you buy

I JUST REVIEWED MY LISTING AND THE FIRST PICTURE, BECAUSE OF LIGHTING, MAKES THE GRIPS LOOK SLIGHTLY DIFFERENT IN COLOR.....THEY ARE NOT, THEY ARE AN ORIGINAL PAIR, AND MORE BLACK THAN BROWN
