Description

An antique E. Howard & Co. 72 hour timepiece mechanism. It is in good working condition as an independent piece, but we cannot test it within the whole. It looks to be in good condition. The dial has some light marks, and there are some scratches on the front metal. There is some wear of the color on the screws as well. It is numbered A 769. It appears to wind down well, if with a bit of delay. It is in the box we received it in from a watchmaker’s estate, the information on the box may not apply to this piece. It has loose screws, some of which appear to fit in the empty spaces in the frame. There is a note with the item, likely intended for the watchmaker that says the upper jewel is loose.
