1911 Arched Mainspring Housing with Lanyard Loop WWII USGI type fits Colt A1

Description

This is a Arched Mainspring Housing with Lanyard Loop for full-size or Gov't Model Colt 1911, 1911A1 and clones.  The construction is steel with a matte black finish.  This is a modern production piece, not a vintage collectible.
These are the most accurate and economical replica of an original that I've found in several years dealing in 1911 parts.  They are
ideal for converting Springfield 1911s with the key lock, or Rock Island 1911s with flat housings to an arched WWII USGI style mainspring housing, with a lanyard loop.  Short of getting lucky and finding an original at a bargain price, you won't find a better deal.
Please note - this is a one piece part, there are no internal parts included, and the lanyard loop is part of the casting, not pinned in place like an original.  These have generally rough finishes, they may appear to have nicks, dings, and thin spots in the finish, which usually approximate the finishes found on GI issue pistols.
As with all parts, some fitting may be required to install.  If you have any doubts, it's best to have the parts installed by a qualified gunsmith.  It's up to you and your gunsmith to make the part fit your specific 1911, do not expect this part to drop-in without any work.
Returns:
All parts returned must be in the same condition they were received.  If you attempt to fit the part
to your pistol, it's no longer a NEW part and can not be returned.  If you file, drill, stone, polish, scuff, or scratch a part during install, you own it.  Damaged parts that are returned will have 50% deducted from the refund.
In the interest of getting your order to you as quickly as humanly possible, I pack orders, print the postage, and get them in the mail, usually within minutes of receiving your orders.  If you send me a message that you want to cancel your order 10 minutes after placing it, I will already have been billed by Paypal for the transaction, and your postage will already be bought, along with the padded envelope, bag, tape, labels, etc that go into shipping your package to you.  The shipping and handling cost is non-refundable.

If you order an item, and change your mind, please don't ask for a return.  I offer returns as a gesture of good faith, that the item I send you, will match the description.  If I make a mistake, absolutely send the item back, I'll take responsibility.  If you changed your mind, that's your mistake.  I've been accepting returns for changed minds, and I will continue to do so, but I ask you as a responsible adult, don't waste my time if you don't intend to keep the item you're purchasing.
